The Annual Vintage Launch Auction Event:
Guests are collected from their homes in formal wear to a secret destination for the Annual Auction where the entire vintage of arguably the best Pinotage in the World is sold off in one evening. Every aspect of the product is unique with the greatest regard for quality and exclusivity. The bottle is an imported Saverglass creation, called Bordelaise 1855. It is a reproduction of the original Bordeaux bottle. The closures are hand selected Amorim corks, the twelve bottle wooden cases that the wine comes in are custom made, stackable and sturdy, and the label a unique work of art from well known designer Haumann Smal. |

The 2009 Le Vin de François Auction event was held at Croydon Olive Estate. The remote location had our guests wondering where they were being whisked off to but the centre was transformed into a 1930’s “Speakeasy Club” making us all feel very posh.

2008
Like a first born child, one seldom forgets the intense exhilaration of hosting the very first auction and I am sure all our guests will agree that this little spot in town at Bijou will always have a special place in our hearts. Magda Naude's very first auction and Bruce Roberton as chef. Two great legends but show must go on and honour their great lives in style, as they would have wanted us to, we will!
